Well it looks, like it’s been a while since we last posted, but all of that is about to change. We’ve received some great responses from a variety of great local iPhone Developers. Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks as we start to feature a snippet of the great apps coming out of the growing Calgary community.
First up, we’d like to introduce the simple and fun little app called BobSprings by TechConficio. They are a new iPhone Developer shop run by Steven Knudsen, a long time developer in the Calgary area. This is their first foray in to iPhone development and BobSprings is one of those neat little apps that toys with the physics of the iPhone.
The concept is fairly simple and allows users to play with a customized bobblehead, with a few different spring options. Users can customize their bobblehead with their own pictures or just stick with the standard ‘Bob’ head. Just flick the head or shake the iPhone and watch ‘Bob”s head bounce back and forth.
As a first foray in to Apps Store, Bobsprings is really well designed. The interface is intuitive and easy to digest, without being cumbersome. So although it may seem like a novelty app, do keep an eye out for TechConficio as they are a development outfit with some great potential.
